Tell us about you and your business.
I am a mum of five-year old twins and I am passionate about helping busy families have healthy and less stressful lives by cooking and delivering home-cooked, healthy, family friendly dinners to Windsor and Maidenhead. From the day I started weaning my children I have been obsessed with cooking healthy food for my family. I have spent a lot of time trying and testing nutritious and delicious recipes on them and I now have a repertoire of recipes that I know children (and adults) love and I want to share the dishes with other families.
What is your mission?
To help busy parents bring up their children with a healthy lifestyle. The constant juggle between work, family and cooking can drive anyone up the wall and my service can help them feed their family in a quick and easy way while also keeping them healthy. I also love to share healthy family living ideas on my social media.
Who do you admire the most?
People who have gone through difficult situations (a tricky start in life or a long difficult patch in life) and have become successful through passion, determination, grit and a positive mindset.
What makes you happy?
Being in nature, exercise and spending time with my family and friends. I also love travelling!
What difference has creating and sharing content made to your business?
It has enabled me to explain what my business is about and how I help my customers. It has helped to build the brand and hopefully bring value to my followers with interesting content.
What content have your created that has really engaged your audience?
When I ask questions that create debate, cooking and behind the scene videos and posts with ideas for healthy family living like being active together, nutritional advice etc.
What is the one thing you have done in your business that has made the most difference?
My business is new, so spending a lot of time promoting it and creating content has so far been the most important thing I have done to grow and publicise my business.
What advice would you give to fellow business owners?
Have a business that you are passionate about and don’t give up!
All the meals made by Ingela’s kitchen are cooked from scratch in her home kitchen in Windsor. The dishes are low in salt, have no sugar or other nasties in them and most are gluten free. Vegetarian and dairy free dishes are coming soon. You can also freeze the meals and get them delivered to your door if you live in Windsor or Maidenhead in Berkshire.
